NANOTEXNOLOGY 2019: Technology, Networking, and Matchmaking Annual Event

NANOTEXNOLOGY, an international trade fair and conference in nanotechnology, organic electronics, and nanomedicine taking place from 29 June to 6 July 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece, will bring together over 2000 researchers, scientists, engineers, business, technical, and policy professionals to promote research and industrial collaborations.

NANOTEXNOLOGY is a large nanotechnology exhibition uniting innovators from academia, research institutes, and industry to bring nanotechnology from lab to the market, in the emerging fields of organic electronics and nanomedicine. This exhibition includes the premier and internationally established events as follows:

- International Symposium on Flexible Organic Electronics (ISFOE19) 1-4 July;

- International Conference on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (NN19) 2-5 July;

- International Conference on 3D Printing & Bioprinting, Digital & Additive Manufacturing (I3D19) 1-5 July;

- Business Forum, 2-4 July;

- Matchmaking Event, 3 July;

- NANOTEXNOLOGY EXPO 2019, 1-5 July;

- International Summer Schools "N&N, OE & Nanomedicine" (ISSON19) 29 June-6 July.

The NANOTEXNOLOGY 2019 business to business matchmaking event being held on 3 July 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece, organized by PRAXI Network (member of Enterprise Europe Network) in collaboration with Nanotechnology Lab LTFN, and Hellenic Organic and Printed Electronics Association (HOPE-A), will provide technology developers and technology users with the opportunity for international, technology, business, and research partnerships in nanotechnology, organic electronics, and nanomedicine for fostering technical and entrepreneurial cooperation. This matchmaking event will be organized in accordance with the qualifications of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest business support organization in Europe and beyond, which is active in more than 60 countries. The technical aspects of this event will also be managed by the Enterprise Europe Network partners.

During its previous matchmaking event, the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2018 attracted 180 prearranged bilateral meetings, and helped researchers, start-up companies, and entrepreneurs from over 20 countries come together according to their profile information in the dedicated platform for discussing technology transfer and potential business cooperation. This event was mainly geared towards taking the full advantage of the vibrant and creative environment of the conferences for forming collaborations between the attendees, external companies, and industry visitors.

The NANOTEXNOLOGY 2019 matchmaking event will enable a group of leading scientists, entrepreneurs, developers, engineers, and practitioners as well as companies – end users of nanotechnology and organic electronics to review recent developments, identify outstanding needs, and provide solutions for their business. Participating organizations will benefit from cutting-edge technological solutions, along with getting the chance to present their innovative technologies, establish cross-border connections, meet potential partners for business or collaborative European R&D projects, and specifically meet some of the major actors in the field of nanotechnology and organic electronics.

The areas of interest for this matchmaking event will include: organic and printed electronics applications; organic and printed materials and chemicals; photonics, micro- and nanoelectronics; nano-chemicals, inks, and nanoparticles; nanomaterials and nano-biomaterials; metrology, nano-instruments, and characterization systems; nanotechnology and food, and food packaging; synthesis and fabrication equipment; nano-energy, renewables, and environment; nano-construction and buildings; nanotextile, wearable electronics, and clothing; nanobio-medicine and nanomedicine; pharmaceuticals; business and venture; and publishing houses.
